Laser Pico Sailing dinghy with Laser combination launch trolley and road trailer. White hull, Grey upper in good condition just the usual marks and scratches. Sails blue and both in fair condition – jib hardly used. New cover this year - cover has minor damage to stern stbd corner approx 1cm nick in it. 2005 boat as far as I know. Several extras installed, including Laser padded foot straps and hyking kit, travel bags for rudder and daggerboard. Great boat, reluctant sale – My 6 year old can now sail this and wanted to do more and bigger, thus we have gone up to the 2000. New ropes pack for this year also. Mainly sailed on freshwater lakes – privately owned since new, never been a sail school boat.

65' Gary Gorton, fitted out by Charisma Woodcraft to an excellent finish, all Ash and Afromosia, mostly solid wood throughout with many great features including hand built kitchen with curved doors and drawers, a visit once by a boat yard owner led him to get his guys out from the workshop and lead them through this boat telling them "this is how we should be building boats" All in all a top quality fitout. Please don't look at the outside and think 'Oh another one of them' this is special, don't miss out!
The hull has a the cabin shape of a semitrad but with a cruiser stern, quite unlike anything else i've seen, it steers superbly and even reverses well (with a little practice) even without using the bowthruster. External woodwork is mostly teak.
Engine is a Perkins 3HD-45 (just recently serviced and de coked a couple of years back)
PRM Gear Box (just serviced)
Electric Bowthruster fitted
2.5KW sterling comdo inverter/charger (Brand new 26.01.10)
1 x 110amph starter battery
6 x 110amph service batteries
1 x 110amph bowthruster battery
Cratch cover, pram cover, room for 4 gas bottles in one of the four fixed front lockers (at the moment we have 3 x 13k and one small handygas cylinder installed) The front situated saloon has a Parisienne Solid fuel stove, a built in but moveable settee and two fitted cupboards. Next the galley is L shaped, with 12v fridge, vanette gas hob, vanette gas oven ample drawer units and cupboard with 3 high level curved 'display type' glass fronted cupboards, the kitchen has a few really nice features in the way of curved drawers and doors. Next is the raised 4 seat dinette that converts to a comfortable double and has a side hatch for a great view. Next is a cupboard housing the Aldi room sealed boiler this make a great coat drying room when the boiler is lit. The boiler heats hot water via a calorifier and also heats 4 radiators, with the solid fuel stove, the aldi, and sprayfoam insulation the is boat is a great, all year around, livaboard. Next is a curving passage leading past a coctail cabinet which includes another 12v fridge and more storage, on past the 'head' This is a contained bathroom with a dump through toilet, to a pumpout, a sink, and hip bath with a shower over, also features a large mirrored built in wall cabinet. Past the bathroom is the fixed double with a large clothes cupboard, 2 big under bed drawers, a vanity unit and two overhead lockers.
leading off the bedroom is a utility room which is plumbed for a washing machine (no machine fitted though) this room also contains the combo inverter charger, consumer units 12 & 240v. and plenty of room for storage. 2 x 60watt solar panels are fitted
A great boat, not an unfeasably immaculate palace but a very very good boat in better condition now than when I bought it in 2000, then I looked at 40 boats with no luck, saw this one and decided within 10 minutes that this was the boat for me.
Reason for sale? I've found that another boat has stolen my heart. People say i'm mad to be selling Berengaria and at times I think they are probably right!

She has spacious solid iroko decks surrounded by stanchions with a highly varnished iroko rail , the outside steering gives excelent visibility and makes her a joy to handle with acres of space to wine away the evenings while listening to the on board stereo system
The Layout is as follows from fwd outside stem head roller with electric anchor winch cqr anchor and 60 fathoms of chain the deck is encassed in solid stanchions with iroko capping rail fwd hatch in teak , twin fwd skylight in teak ,spruce mast ,large teak twin skylight with brass bars ,the wheelhouse is built of solid teak to the original design (2001) wide side decks leading to sliding doors into wheelhouse lower aft deck leading to large lazarette with storage for gas bottles and ropes, upper steering with full controls , all the decks are of solid iroko and recently re-caulked . Stepping inside from fwd we have the very well appointed galley work tops in solid oak and all cupboards are solid english cherry with in laid oak panels , double s/s sink built in double oven and grill ,flush mounted 4 burner hob ,built in microwave and fridge.There is large amounts of storage and all the woodwork is beautifully varnished floors are in white oak boardered with mahogany , moving into the fwd guest cabin beautifully fitted out in mahogany and highly varnished twin bunk beds with ample storage and drawers underneath ,hanging locker , ensuite toilet and shower , moving aft into the spacious main saloon fitted out in beautifull teak with large cupboards to stbd and an L shaped settee to port with new upholstery,desk area to port,display cabinets to stbd with teak doors and bevelled glass , white painted overheads with varnished deck beams and 4 bronze port holes giving the saloon a very cozy feel . going up 3 steps into the light and airy wheelhouse finished in teak with polished oak floors , main helm with full instrumentation in teak with white oak inlay chart area to port with sailor vhf , aft upholstered seats with lockers below access toe the engines is through 3 large hatches in the floor ,going down three steps into the owners suit all fitted out in teak stbd side porcelain basin to port shower and electric toilet , full height wardrobe , full size double bed the aft cabin is fitted with 7 custom made bronze portholes . This vessel has undergone a complete systems and machinery re-fit comprising of 2x 100 gallon s/s fuel tanks ,2x 80 gallon s/s water tanks 40 galllon plastic holding tank , 2x new 42 hp isuzu dieselswith prm 150 gearboxes 2x new propellers recently re-wired and fitted with new 2.5 kw invertor , 720 amp main battery bank , 220 engine start bank ,new plumbing and 10 gallon calorifier ,2x bilge pumps , mikuny my 30 warm air heating system ,hydraulic steering ,all ropes and fenders |
